SmartLav+ is a professional clip-on microphone designed for use on film sets, TV studios, and broadcasts. Perfect for situations requiring high-quality audio with discreet miking, without the need for complex and expensive wireless equipment. The smartLav+ user simply clips the microphone in place, plugs it into a smartphone or tablet, and starts recording with the RØDE Rec app for iOS or any other audio app.

The smartLav+ uses a professional omnidirectional condenser capsule that picks up sound equally from all directions, allowing versatile placement and greatly simplifying the workflow. The foam windshield minimises wind noise and plosives (“b”, “t”, and “p” sounds). The microphone also features a rugged mounting clip with a cable management hook. The cable is Kevlar®-reinforced, so it will never stretch or break under normal use. The smartLav+ works with any audio app that supports headset recording.

Additionally, using the included cable, you can record directly into any device with a mini-jack input, such as a camera.
