Rent A7SIII - now available

We invite you to test the new cinematic full-frame body from Sony. Five years after the launch of the A7SII, its successor has finally arrived — and it was worth the wait. The new Sony body offers capabilities previously reserved for professional cameras costing tens of thousands of zloty each, all packed into a small, compact body.

Below is a summary of the key features that impressed us most:

  • 4K at up to 120 fps in 10-bit — Sony was genuinely shaken by the Canon R5 and R6 launches and went all in, giving this camera capabilities previously available only in professional cameras such as the Sony FX9. In some respects it even surpassed much more expensive cameras by offering 4K at 120 fps (the Sony FX9 can only do 60 fps in 4K).
  • very fast autofocus — working perfectly even in slow motion. This autofocus is genuinely outstanding. Testing the camera over several days, I found I captured shots that would have been impossible with manual focus — all without a focus puller, at f/1.4!
  • touchscreen for easy focus point selection and menu navigation — selecting a focus point on screen is very convenient: tap where you want the camera to focus, and it then tracks the subject — brilliant.
  • completely rebuilt menu — Sony has finally delivered a menu that is intuitive. Seemingly minor, but it makes work so much easier.
  • beautiful colour profiles — as good as Canon, perhaps even better :) And image quality is only marginally below the Sony FX9 — which means outstanding.
  • full-size HDMI output — no more worrying about HDMI reliability. It is finally full-size, not Micro.
  • RAW recording via HDMI to external recorders
  • supports both SD and CFexpress cards
  • flip-out screen — ideal for vloggers
  • a note for the attentive reader — if you have read this far, you can rent the Sony A7SIII for 300 PLN gross — a special discount for careful readers :) (promotion valid until 30 October)
  • improved body ergonomics — the camera sits beautifully in the hand and feels much better than its predecessors
  • low-light capability — perhaps only the Sony FX9 is better in this regard — you can shoot in near-darkness
